Safety & Community Guidelines

Circles work when people feel safe. These guidelines help keep conversations respectful, focused, and trustworthy.

Respect rules

  • Assume good intent; ask clarifying questions instead of attacking.
  • Keep circles on-topic and inclusive.
  • Don’t pressure others to share personal info.
  • Honor consent: recording, screenshots, and sharing require permission.

No harassment

  • No hate, threats, stalking, intimidation, or repeated unwanted contact.
  • No sexually explicit harassment or non-consensual content.
  • No doxxing (sharing private personal info).
  • No scams, impersonation, or fraud.

Reporting system

If something feels off, report it. We’d rather review a false alarm than miss a real problem.

How to report
  1. Open the circle details page.
  2. Select “Report” (hook this to your moderation flow).
  3. Include what happened + any evidence (time, screenshots, messages).

What happens if someone breaks rules

  • Warning + education for minor, first-time issues.
  • Temporary restrictions for repeated or harmful behavior.
  • Removal from circles for disruption or harassment.
  • Account suspension/ban for severe violations.

Note: This is a template. Adapt enforcement steps to your actual moderation policy and legal requirements.
